Tell us about your creative process. Is it the same for all your different creative abilities or is it all pretty much the same?
Whether it's painting a mural or working on cover art designs, my work is driven by music. I sit down with my client and brainstorm ideas, trying to absorb as much as possible so I have the chance to over-deliver with my art. I'll ask for samples of the project they're working on to match the art with the music. I think that's most important because the cover is supposed to paint the picture of what you're listening to. I take all those ideas to my design studio and I begin to sketch out concepts to bring back to my client. I'll either call my client to bounce back more ideas during this process. Then I deliver the first draft and after some revisions, they're blessed with the masterpiece.

I can see you’re definitely a jack of all trades but do you have one field that you like spending the most time on ?
If I had to pick one field that I enjoy spending the most time on, it would be designing cover art. It's where I feel my passion truly comes alive, and I find myself fully immersed and inspired. However, I believe that my diverse skill set enhances my abilities in creative ideas for murals, bringing a unique perspective and creativity to everything I undertake. Each field I engage with informs and enriches the others, creating a dynamic and well-rounded approach to my work.
What can the people expect from you in 2024 ? Any events or maybe another field you plan on exploring ?
I just relocated to the Grand Rapids area so I'm looking forward to linking with local artist and studio owners, building relationships, establishing a name in the area as a go-to cover artist.
